June 17th Release
Like any good engineering team are constantly working to imporve our product so to that end, on Wednesday, June 17th, we released a series of upgrades to the CoFormIt application along with a few bug fixes.
What we added
- Unified collaboration + review workflow
- You can now mix and match collaboration and review workflows. For example: Build an evaluation form that a team member starts, their manager responds to and a director finalizes. Followed by a review from HR or an executive — all from one interface.

- Nested forms
- You can now re-use the same form by embedding it in other forms. Submissions from "child" forms can be saved with the "parent" form's data or separately with the child form.
- Users in multiple accounts
- If you are part of more than one CoFormIt customer's account you can now log in with the same email and simply toggle between accounts (what we call tenants internally).

- Tier upgrade path
- You can now upgrade your plan and purchase multiple of any given plan, allowing you to purchase 2 Starter plans at $5/month/each, i.e. $10/month total. New plan purchases will be prorated for the remainder of the current billing period
- Form templates ("From Template")
- We added a handful of starter templates for your convenience.
- JSON file imports
- You can now import form submissions, form collaborators, users, groups, and group members from JSON, CSV (comma-separated values), or Excel files.

- Form expiration
- Forms can be set to expire — they'll stop accepting new submissions, and you can allow a grace period for in-progress submissions.
- New Tenant Admin features — we added a couple of things to help administrators manage their account
- Default max file size
- Localization global setting
- Manual password reset
- Sortable tables
- Pretty self-explanatory :)
Things we should have had all along ;)
- Save draft submissions
- Yea, we should have had this in there a while ago, our bad!
- Full API documentation
- The current public API is limited to retrieving forms and submissions at this point, but they are available in an Open API output
- Cleaned up some of the clutter on the form builder/settings page for a form.
- Separate tenant billing contact
- You can set up your financial team to receive billing updates and invoices...
What we fixed
- Dashboard's My Submissions card's count was always 3 once you had more than 2 submissions
- Updated our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy
- Our legal counsel suggested we beef up a couple of policies and note that we are using Stripe to process payments. There were other details, but let's be honest, most of you won't read the them. For those so inclined follow the above links and knock yourself out.
- Erroneous out of credit notifications
- Some of our beta testers received incorrect notifications warning that they were almost out of credits.
