July 21st Release
On Tuesday, July 21st, we released a series of upgrades to the CoFormIt application along with a handful of bug fixes.
What we added
- Redesigned the Workflow page for end users.
- No longer a list of stages at the top of the form we now have a status bar along the right for the various Collaboration and Review steps

- Added configurable visibility of previous form sections for reviewers.
- When setting up a workflow, form admins can now make granular decisions about what a reviewer can see regarding the previous secttions of the form. Possible options include: view the entire form, view the prior form components, or only view the most recent collaboration section
- Added token support in outgoing emails, letting you include values from the form submission in the email sent by the form

- Added auto-save on forms
- This is optional for new forms, but turned on by default
- Added bulk import into embedded nested forms
- Note, importing into linked, ie nested form that save submissions separately from their parent, is still not supported.
- Added admin access to edit history for non-workflow forms
- Added a forced session timeout when the CoFormIt tab is closed, so we are not just running a timer in open tabs
- Added monthly usage exports for admins
- Added an expiration/deadline option for collaborative submissions
- Added email verification to public forms, preventing submission until the user verifies they control the email
Things we should have had all along ;)
- Added automatic skipping of collaboration sections with no visible form components
- If all of the form components in a collaboration section are hidden, the user will not be asked to complete the section
- Added search to the help documentation
- Added automatic removal of bounced email addresses from the soft-bounce list after 60 days
- Added the ability for admins to remove a bounced email destination from the soft-bounce list
What we fixed
- Fixed nested form rendering in PDF exports
- Added a prompt for users to refresh the page when a new version is released
